Leading landscaping supplier Green-tech has received not one but two accolades this week, having been listed as finalists in the Harrogate Advertiser Business Awards for both Employer Of The Year and Best Large Business 2017. The recognition comes at a time of continued growth for the business with the increase of team members to 70, the recruitment of two new apprentices and the best trading month in the history of Green-tech.
The Harrogate Business Awards are highly regarded within the North Yorkshire region, profiling a variety of independent companies that are carving their own way in the world of business. Categories include, best rural business, tourism business and business personality of the year.
Jean MacQuarrie, editor of the Harrogate Advertiser Series, said the standard of entries had been as high as ever. “Every year we hear about some of the brilliant companies we have in our region, but nevertheless it’s easy to forget just how much talent there actually is in our business community”.
Richard Kay, chairman of Green-tech added: “It is a great boost for the team to be flagged as finalists in not one but two local awards, the competition within this region is strong and we are up against some outstanding businesses. The team has worked hard over the last 12 months in the key areas of product development, distribution and customer service to ensure that we maintain the levels of support and service our landscape customers require.”
