Green-tech ticks all the boxes

The results from the annual ‘Big Green-tech survey’ are in. The survey is sent to all contacts on Green-techs extensive database and digs deep to find out what customers think about areas such as sales advisers, product choice, pricing, deliveries and distribution. For every survey completed a donation of 50p is donated to The Dystonia Society, Green-tech’s chosen charity for 2014.

Headline numbers include:

  • Overall 98% rate Green-tech as either Excellent or Good.
  • 95% say our advisers’ knowledge is Excellent and Good
  • 96% believe our advisers’ efficiency is Excellent and Good
  • 97% think our product range is Excellent and Good
  • 96% agree our product availability is Excellent and Good
  • 97% confirm that orders are delivered within the time frame specified

Of the respondents 72% were landscape contractors, with the remaining respondents working within the retail, landscape architecture, construction and grower sectors. Green-tech enjoys a long-standing customer base with an amazing 81% of respondents using them for over 5 years.

When choosing a supplier service and delivery was considered to be more important than price. Which is great news for Green-tech as 96% of respondents say their advisers’ efficiency is Excellent or Good, 97% agree that orders are delivered within the time frame specified and 99% confirm that orders are delivered well packaged and clean.

The use of the website, perhaps not surprisingly, has seen the largest increase as a method of communication with 80% of respondents now visiting www.green-tech.co.uk. 85% are browsing products and over 50% use to download technical information. This is great news as Green-tech have invested heavily in the digital and on-line side of the business and has recently launched their mobile website for tablets and smart phones, making easier for customers on site to browse products and place orders.
