    Harrogate Autumn Flower Show results

    North Yorkshire nursery RV Roger has taken top honours for the second year running at this year’s Harrogate Autumn Flower Show.
    The company won Best in Show for plant nursery exhibits, with a fantastic display of over 230 different types of apple, pear, quince and other fruits. Best in Show for Special Educational/Scientific exhibits went to Hoyland Plant Centre.
    The garden, which depicts a disused railway line turned over to nature, won top marks and a Premier Gold Award in this year’s Creative Spaces beds and borders competition.
    Premier Gold also went to a design featuring carnivorous plants from Wacks Wicked Plants, Scampston, with four Gold, two Silver Gilt and a Silver also presented by the judges.

    Waste Not Want Not – Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre, Knaresborough – SILVER GILT
    Fusion of food and flower – Leeds Allotments Federation – GOLD
    Nature Reclaimed – Chopsticks, Northallerton – SILVER GILT
    Creating Careers in Creative Spaces – WFGA, Tetbury – GOLD
    We’ll Meet Again – Natasha Golley with Horticap – GOLD
    Shades of Autumn – Down 2 Earth, Sawdon – GOLD
    A Celebration of Rewilding – Preston Park Museum, Eaglescliffe – SILVER
    Down the bog! – Wacks Wicked Plants, Scampston – PREMIER GOLD
