Ian Drummond announced as Green Fingers Charity ambassador

Green Fingers Charity, a charity supporting children in hospices, has announced that Ian Drummond has joined the team as an ambassador.

Ian is a creative director and multi-medal RHS Chelsea Flower Show winner. He has started his role as ambassador with immediate effect, and is focused on promoting and supporting the charity’s hard work and fundraising efforts.

Green Fingers Charity creates beautiful, well-designed outdoor spaces for children to enjoy with their family, friends and siblings, whether through play and fun, or therapeutic rest and relaxation.

Ian said: “Green Fingers is a charity that is close to my heart. I think it is so important that children who spend time in hospices away from their familiar surroundings have access to nature and gardens to enjoy, especially when time is so precious with their families and friends.

“Nature is calming and therapeutic – this is chance for the children to step away from their hospital beds and have some fun. Since selling my business I have much more time, which I want to donate towards  this wonderful charity.”
