Designed by Ann-Marie Powell and built by Landform Consultants, the Gaze Burvill garden display explores how recent events have triggered a recalibration in the significance of how our outside spaces are keeping us happy, healthy and connected to each other and nature.
This will be the second time that multi award-winning Landform Consultants has constructed the Gaze Burvill tradestand at RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Managing Director, Mark Gregory said: “It’s a pleasure to be working with Gaze Burvill again, bringing Ann-Marie’s design to life on Main Avenue. Chelsea is the greatest flower show on earth and it provides the stage for the very best of performers. The rigorous care and attention that Gaze Burvill apply when creating their ranges cannot be matched and Ann-Marie’s design provides the perfect setting. We are honoured to be creating what we are sure will be a showstopper of a tradestand.”
Situated on Main Avenue, Ann-Marie’s design is inspired by ‘Hampshire Wild’ and ‘Rural Refined’ which will correspond to the two distinct areas of the tradestand.
The front area of the display brings the ‘rural refined’ concept to life with distinct areas to relax, dine, cook and entertain in, featuring an outdoor kitchen with pizza oven alongside Gaze Burvill’s classic Broadwalk Dining Table. Instagram’s floral favourite, Arthur Parkinson, will be adorning the dining table with fabulous displays using freshly cut flowers gathered at Sarah Raven’s Perch Hill Farm.
Gaze Burvill’s new Curved Splash Lounge, will be unveiled, demonstrating the perfect space for large gatherings and long relaxing afternoons with friends. The autumnal coloured cushions will reflect designer Ann-Marie’s beautiful September planting that will hug the terrace.
The back area of the display has been inspired by wild Hampshire and will feature Gaze Burvill’s Woodland Seats and new Woodland Table which was shortlisted for the RHS Sustainable Garden Product of the Year 2021.
Full of trees, this area will feel magical and intimate. The oak deck will be Gaze Burvill’s raw material oak boards, used to create really special one-off flooring that will be repurposed once the show closes.
The tradestand is sponsored by Auriens, who open their first, luxury, later living development a stone’s throw from RHS Chelsea Flower Show this September. With wellness an integral part of the design, the private gardens and courtyards feature Gaze Burvill furniture.
