Landscape Architect – Hugo Bugg Landscapes

We are looking for a highly talented landscape architect to work in our multi-disciplinary studio in the heart of Exeter.

Founded by Hugo Bugg, the firm consists of several consulting associates who bring unique backgrounds to our projects.  Since our origins in 2010, HBL now work on projects internationally as well as in the UK. We work in all areas of professional design: residential, commercial, civic and institutional including the Royal Botanic Garden in Jordan and the 2014 Chelsea Flower Show. Our diverse and ambitious portfolio includes a wide range of large public projects, show gardens, and high-end private designs varying from small to large gardens.

Our small team provides a seamless service from research to design to completion. Our gardens are inspired by the relationships between the formal and informal and draw inspiration from both the natural and built environments. From plants to wood to stone, we re-imagine uses for traditional materials while exploring possibilities in new materials. Our work has a depth of structure and texture with innovation and juxtaposition serving as key themes of expression.

–  Chartered Landscape Architect with minimum 3 years post graduate experience in landscape architectural or architectural practice.

–  Demonstrate the higheststandard of conceptual design skills with the proven ability to transpose into excellent computer graphic presentation work. We are especially interested in candidates with proven ability to create design solutions relevant to sustainable urban environments.

– Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to meet deadlines and present projects as well team work ethic and entrepreneurial skills to generate new business opportunities.

– Advanced competence in the use of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp and Microsoft Office.
