The Landscape Institute has extended the deadline for its 2020 Awards to 5pm on Thursday 23 July. This is in recognition of the challenges many landscape practitioners are facing as a result of COVID-19 and the lockdown restrictions.
This year’s awards are set to the “most exciting, sustainable and inclusive yet”, according to the LI. They include 16 redesigned Professional category awards, four Open category awards and a new Building with Nature 2020 Award, which recognises the design, delivery and management of great places for people and wildlife.
This latter award is open to recipients holding a Building with Nature accreditation. It also one of four free categories this year, the others being Landscape Legacy Award, New Landscape Professional of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.
Standard entry fees have been reduced from £180 to £160 (excluding VAT).
Sole traders, and LI members working for public sector organisations, can get a further £30 discount.
