      This year’s final for Young Horticulturist of the Year competition was held on 6 May at University Centre Shrewsbury where the final eight competitors fought for the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world with a £2,500 bursary.       Writtle University College’s Horticulture Apprentice Jimmy Heritage has been awarded the Toro Student Greenkeeper Award at a prestigious ceremony held at the British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA) headquarters in York.
