    Lim In Chong joins the Show Gardens Assessment Panel at BBC Gardeners’ World Live

    Internationally acclaimed garden designer Lim In Chong (Inch) has announced that he’ll join the panel of Show Garden assessors at BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2019. As a recipient of renowned international awards for his designs including twice winning the Gardening World Cup, Inch will bring a new dimension to the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Assessment Panel.
     
    The Assessment Panel will survey each of the Show Gardens. These include the headline Watchmaker’s Garden, the five APL Avenue gardens, the Canal & River Trust’s ‘Making Life Better by Water’ garden and many more. The activity culminates with an Awards Ceremony hosted by Matt Biggs on Wednesday 12 June. This will include the announcement of the Best in Show, and the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Young Landscapers of the Year Award, pictured above. The Beautiful Border Awards will take place on 13 June, alongside the Floral Marquee Awards.
     
    Inch joins an enviable list of assessors:
     
    Robert Hillier – Chairman of Hillier Nurseries, the largest nursery in the UK. Robert is an experienced judge at Chelsea, and other RHS and International shows, and is a Vice President of the RHS
    Kate Gouldmultiple Gold Award-winning designer, including three Chelsea Best in Show gardens
     
    Chris Harrop OBE – Marshalls Group Marketing Director and B2B Marketing Awards’ 2018 Marketer of the Year
     
    Ian Hodgson – specialist garden writer and editor of Garden News
     
    Steve Smith – owner of Shore Landscapes, RHS judge and World Skills assessor for Landscaping
     
    Mark Gregory – Chair of the Show Garden Assessment Panel – Multi award winning Landscape Contractor and Managing Director of Landform Consultants
     
    Richard Barnard – Chair of the Beautiful Borders Assessment Panel – eminent horticulturalist and Managing Director of Hillier Landscapes
