by | 19 Feb 24 | News, Supplier News

Hertfordshire based tree nursery Majestic Trees supplies and plants the official Coronation Tree to commemorate HM King Charles III succession to the throne.

The Acer platanoides, also known as Crimson King, has been planted on the grounds of Hertford Castle, a Grade 1 listed building dating back to the 15th century.

Managing director of Majestic Trees, Steve McCurdy calls being chosen to supply the Crimson King an “honour”.

Robert Voss, CBE and HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, who arranged the tribute have been long-time customers of Majestic Trees.

He, alongside Majestic Trees planting director Fern Snowling, were in attendance at the planting.

Robert Voss, CBE and HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire can be seen in his full uniform along with other county dignitaries.
