A species native to the Mediterranean region has been coined Christmas houseplant of the year 2023 by plants@work.
The ‘Rosemary Tree’ came out as this year’s top choice, as voted for by several recognised voices within the plant world.
Michael Perry, also known as Mr Plant Geek chose Rosemary or a similar fir tree because “it’s distinctive, and the fragrance will be the perfect tonic in the winter home.”
Pro Landscaper’s own head of content, Nina Mason voted for the Rosemary tree, citing her love for it comes from “the opportunity to create a mini Christmas tree and to fill the room with such a gorgeous scent, and with a year-round benefit too.”
This year’s selection of plants up for consideration included winners and runner ups from recent years.
