Millboard London Showroom reopens

Following the relaxation of lockdown laws, the Millboard London Showroom on Clerkenwell’s Goswell Road has reopened for business. Callers to the centre are once again able to view the company’s ranges of high-end decking and cladding, subject to pre-booking their visit and the usual social distancing and mask-wearing rules.

Showroom Manager Trevor Shephard is delighted to be able to welcome visitors once more. He said ‘Millboard has actually done very good business during the various lockdowns and restrictions that have had to be imposed to fight the pandemic, but it’s great to once again be able to meet with people face to face to discuss their decking and cladding requirements. Situated where we are in Clerkenwell, we have a host of architects and designers very local to our showroom, so we hope many will take the opportunity to pay us a visit. With many hospitality venues looking to upgrade their external spaces to host customers, we are expecting demand to be especially strong now.’

Millboard also recognises that in-person visits may still be impractical for many, so are offering a digital alternative. Trevor explains: ‘We can host virtual tours via Zoom, Teams or WhatsApp for customers between 7.30am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. Hosted by me or one of my team, the tours will be very much customer driven, so could last from 15 minutes up to an hour or more, depending on which topics and products the customer wants to explore.’

As soon as coronavirus restrictions permit, Millboard is looking forward to resuming the other activities for which the Showroom was intended when it launched in 2019, including CPD training sessions, architect-focused events and design presentations.

In the meantime, anyone wishing to visit the Millboard London Showroom at 63 Goswell Rd, EC1V 7EN can prebook by email to [email protected] or by calling 020 3978 8800, while virtual tours can be booked using an online form at millboard.co.uk/london-showroom.
