M&M Timber has announcing the appointment of a new commercial director, Andy Hodge. Andy brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience, and will be aiming to drive further success and expansion of the business over the next decade, strengthening the existing management team.
From a management trainee at Mallinson Denny to European marketing director of global timber preservative manufacturer Osmose, Andy’s career has given him wide ranging experience in all aspects of the timber industry and he was responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships in the UK, Ireland, wider Europe and Asia. He has recently completed an MBA (Master of Business Administration) at Henley Business School and has achieved Timber Industry (TTJ) Excellence in Marketing Award.
Over the past 10 years, considerable investment in plant and equipment at the 22 acre Clows Top manufacturing centre has enabled M&M Timber to achieve unrivalled prominence as a leading player in the garden and leisure industry. Innovative ranges of garden products and timber structures are now stocked in more than 350 independent garden centres and other outlets throughout the UK and sales of agricultural fencing, landscaping timbers and children’s play equipment are developing well.

Currently the company’s manufacturing centre is turning its attention to a whole new range of innovative products, which will be making their debut at the forthcoming GLEE Show at the NEC in September.
