Nationwide landscaping and grounds maintenance specialist Nurture Landscapes has returned to the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 list, coming 65th overall.
This is the company’s third inclusion in the past six years, and marks its highest position. Nurture was first listed in the table in 2014, achieving a ranking of 92 out of 100, and then in the following year, when it ranked 98th.
The league table recognises fastest-growing sales over the latest three years of UK companies, with several leading names appearing on lists both past and present.
First established in 2008, Nurture Landscapes has grown exponentially over the past 11 years. The company is headquartered in Windlesham, Surrey, but offers a national service across the UK through a network of regional offices and depots.
This growth is also a result of an ambitious target of two acquisitions each year – the latest being Scotland-based McDermott Contracting Services in November. Nurture’s largest acquisition, of Gavin Jones Ltd in 2018, brought an increase in sales of £30m.
As a result, Nurture currently boasts an impressive £85m in turnover.
Peter Fane, Nurture’s founder and managing director, said:
“It is a fantastic accomplishment to make it onto the table for the third time. It’s great that UK businesses are continuing to grow given all the uncertainty in the economy through Brexit. This achievement is down to the entire Nurture team that work tirelessly to deliver a quality service to all our loyal customers across the UK.”
Being named on the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 list comes off the back of a series of award wins for Nurture Landscapes. Several of the company’s projects have received awards from the British Association of Landscaping Industries (BALI) and international recognition through its clients receiving the prestigious Green Apple award for quality.
