Out and About – Sculpture at Wisley

On Monday 9 March we attended the launch of Sculpture at Wisley. ‘The Four Seasons’ by American sculptor and filmmaker Philp Haas reimagines paintings nearly 500 years old.

Although it was a rainy evening, the sculptured busts didn’t disappoint. Each towering at 4.5m they are made from items which relate to the season of which they represent – Summer with peachy cheeks and a dimpled pear chin and Winter with mushroom lips.
Running from the 9 March to 30 September visitors will be able to experience the sculptures as they and Wisley garden transforms through the seasons.
