Paxman Landscapes shortlisted in six categories of the APL Awards 2017

There’s no better gratitude for a successful season of hard work and endeavour than the recognition of your industry associates. In Paxman Landscapes case, they have this in bucketloads – six times over! The company’s landscape creations have been selected for the shortlist in six categories of the Association of Professional Landscapers Awards 2017. The award categories are distinguished by overall value, size and type of project for each entry. Three of the projects built in the past twelve months by the Paxman Landscapes team are vying for a top podium finish. The winners will be announced at an Awards Dinner in London in March 2017.

Managing Director of Paxman Landscapes, Justin Paxman said: “We already knew we’d delivered some top-notch landscaping schemes this year so it’s a great pat on the back to have the industry agree with us. The three projects up for awards are real-life examples of how our team create landscapes for commercial and private gardens. If we’re lucky enough to pick up even one of the main awards, we’ll be pleased – and the whole team will take it as a massive compliment.”

The three projects shortlisted across the six categories are a Mediterranean-style terraced garden in Brighouse, Huddersfield; a community rooftop garden in Manchester and an ambitious multi-level private garden and waterfall in Lepton, Huddersfield.

The APL Awards event has been running since 1995 and is the highpoint of the Association’s landscaping year. The Awards are hotly contested by the UK’s finest landscaping companies and have categories rewarding commercial and domestic gardens, community gardens and the overall design and build of a landscape.
