Pro Landscaper launches new Project Awards

by | 27 Apr 23 | Featured Slider, News

Pro Landscaper has announced the launch of an award initiative to celebrate landscaping projects with a value below £50k.

The Pro Landscaper Project Awards in association with Provender Nurseries will recognise these projects which are just as important for the industry’s reputation as their larger counterparts.

Previously known as Pro Landscaper’s small project BIG IMPACT Awards, the Project Awards’ new branding leaves an opportunity for growth within this sector of awards and recognises the increase in material prices, with the maximum value for each category having grown to reflect this.

General manager Joe Wilkinson says: “Pro Landscaper is celebrating excellent landscaping projects with a value under £50k.

“These types of projects are often underappreciated; these awards are here to shout about the extreme technical ability, problem-solving skills, and work on a budget that these projects so often demonstrate. They rightly deserve their own awards ceremony.

“The Pro Landscaper Project Awards appreciate the complexities of designing and building a space on a relatively tight budget. In fact, it’s often hard to get the ‘wow factor’ within these restrictions.”

The stellar panel of judges include Lewis Normand, Gareth Wilson, Rosemary Coldstream, David Dodd, Helen Elks-Smith, Jake Catling, Liz Hughes, Ross Conquest, John Wyer, Rupert Keys, Rod Winrow, Lisa Wilkinson, Holly Youde, Mark Gregory, James Scott, Mark Draper, Alistair Bayford and Brian Herbert.

The entries are now open in the 11 categories, and a company can enter either the same, or different, projects in more than one category. Entry deadline is 3 August 2023.

The categories for this year’s Pro Landscaper Project Awards are:
