Every year, November is one of our busiest months, and this year was no different. FutureScape might not have been able to go ahead at the ExCeL London as planned, but that didn’t stop us from holding the UK’s leading landscaping trade event, albeit virtually.
In our November issue, we showcased the incredible seminar programme visitors could experience from the comfort of their own homes and the list of trade exhibitors they could speak to in just a few clicks. We also announced the winners of this year’s 30 Under 30: The Next Generation, sponsored by Green-tech, and the shortlist for the small project BIG IMPACT Awards 2020, the winners of which were announced in an online ceremony at FutureScape VIRTUAL.
Following BALI‘s appointment of a new chair, we interviewed the man himself, Richard Kay of Green-tech. The SGD also announced a new chair, Lynne Marcus, who told us about her plans for the association over the next few months.
Finally, as if all of this wasn’t enough, we launched the UK Landscape Barometer. Interested to know whether garden designers are receiving more enquiries this month than last? Whether commercial landscapers are reporting a higher turnover than this time last year? Or whether those in the south are more confident in the market than those in the north? Our monthly report will provide this insight and more, so keep an eye out for it in this issue and issues to come.
