So you’re self-isolating…who’s your favourite person to be locked up with? Now that would be telling!
Name one thing that’s changed about your daily routine that you’re going to take forward after lockdown’s over? Video calls, so much better to be able to see people as well as hear them.
How many cups of tea/coffee are you now drinking per day?Too many, limiting coffee to mornings only.
Best new Netflix/boxset series or book you’ve discovered? Reading all the garden, design and planting books I have stacked up on the ‘to read’ pile – currently Matt Keightley’s RHS Wellbeing book.
What do you miss most about life before lockdown? Wandering around plant nurseries whenever I needed a plant fix…. or for work of course!
DIY vs gardening – which wins? Gardening.
When working from home is your background choice radio/tv/silence? Silence or Radio 2.
In hindsight, what would you have prepared in advance (ie food/diy products etc)? A sack of flour for bread making, saves fighting over the last bag of bread flour in the supermarket! Also yeast although my sourdough starter is coming into its own now. And LOTS of veg seeds after doing an about turn in my own plot to grow more veg.
Is the government doing a good job of keeping you informed? Not too bad with daily televised updates but there are a lot of mixed messages and no clear long-term strategy.
What’s your predicted date for return to normality? June 15th for some level of normality, hopefully we will learn from this and a ‘new’ less wasteful, more considerate normal will return by the end of summer.
