Services provided include grounds maintenance in parks and open spaces, cleansing, and landscape construction.
Job Title: Projects Manager
Location: Bristol office or Nettletree office, Wimbourne (with a requirement to travel between offices and projects)
Salary: Dependent upon skills and experience
This role has overall responsibility for all landscape construction projects undertaken in the west region (up to a maximum total value of £300k), delivering budgeted sales of £2 million plus per annum at target margin.
The role holder will competently manage all resources across the region and take responsibility of financial control at each project, including management of budget, correct ordering procedures and cost control. Full responsibility will be taken for project mobilisation; ranging from analysing drawings, putting programmes together, sourcing and verifying sub-contractors and programming.
The role holder will act as principal contact for clients of projects within remit and identify and develop external relationships with client organisations to help strengthen the Company profile. There will be shared accountability for successful tendering of projects, supporting the regional Business Development team with operational expertise when needed.
Health and Safety is, of course an integral part of the role by ensuring full compliance as well as maintaining quality control at all times.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of multi contract management at the same time with demonstrable project management expertise and business skills plus a broad base of industry knowledge. They will be financially astute with the ability to strategically analyse tenders, manage budgets, control costs and produce financial reports. The ability to build effective relationships is essential, as is the ability to manage and motivate a large team and effectively plan resource and control costs.

The role will initially report to the Operations Director for the area.
