The Royal Parks at University of Greenwich

The collaboration is the first of several planned between the Landscape Architecture programmes at the university and The Royal Parks. The relationship was initiated by University of Greenwich graduate Ben Carter, who currently works for The Royal Parks. Ed Wall, Academic Leader Landscape at the University of Greenwich, is excited about what this new relationship will offer: “Our proximity to Greenwich Park offers fantastic opportunities for planting and horticulture teaching while the new relationship with The Royal Parks has great potential.”
In September 2014 the Department of Architecture and Landscape moves to the new Stockwell Street building, a location adjacent to Greenwich Park. The fourteen landscape green roofs on the new building offer visual and ecological connections to Greenwich Park while offering world-leading teaching and research facilities.
