The SGD Autumn Conference – GEOMETRY. New angles on gardens and landscape, will focus on giving delegates an insight into the essential use of geometry. The featured speakers are, Christopher Bradley-Hole FSGD (UK), Kate Cullity (Australia), Ian Kitson FSGD (UK), Cristina Mazzucchelli (Italy) and Alex Hanazaki (Brazil). Each will share their process of working to illustrate their articulation of space. Both inspiring and informative, this topic will enable delegates from practices both small and large to explore new geometrical aspects to apply to their own work.
Relationships between shapes and lines are at the very heart of how we design both gardens and landscapes. That geometric vision is critical for smaller gardens. Be they tiny courtyards or formal parterres, and is also applied to country landscapes. Delegates can expect to be both stimulated and learn from the masters of this craft.
The last Conference was at maximum capacity, and early booking is advisory to get a place as there is a limit on places for health & safety.
