Warsaw to play host to AIPH conference
Warsaw will be the backdrop for the International Association of Horticultural Producers’ (AIPH) annual conference next week.
Scheduled for 4 September, as part of the 76th AIPH Annual Congress, visiting delegates can also visit the AIPH-approved Green Is Life International Trade Fair on 5 September.
The congress aims to bring together horticultural leaders, visionaries, and innovators from across the globe and offer an insightful look into the future of horticultural exhibitions.
Speakers will include the likes of Renata Fryszkowska-Madej, vice president of the Polish Nurserymen Association, who will share insights on the role of horticulture in urban development and Nadine Haas, project manager from Doppelmayr.
The conference will be an in-depth exploration of forthcoming AIPH-approved expos, where attendees will receive updates on the much-anticipated A1 expos, including Expo 2027 in Yokohama, Japan.
Another key highlight of the conference will be the presentation of the final report of expo 2023 Doha Qatar, offering a retrospective look at its successes and the lessons learned.
This will be followed by a presentation on the current International Horticultural Exhibition in Chengdu, China, showcasing its ongoing impact and its displays.
In addition to these showcases, the conference will see presentations from places hoping to host future exhibitions.
On the same day, the AIPH general meeting will provide an opportunity for members to contribute to the expansion of global horticultural events that champion environmental sustainability and urban innovation.
