Gillespies says goodbye to Altrincham with Manchester move
Gillespies has made a big relocation to a new studio in the heart of Manchester city centre, following 40 years in Altrincham and Hale.
The landscape architecture, masterplanning, and landscape planning consultancy firm, with views across the city centre, the team has taken a studio on the fifth floor of Northspring, 70 Spring Gardens.
The decision to relocate to Manchester was driven by the company’s desire to offer better access for our clients, co-consultants, and team.
“We’re thrilled to be in a shared workspace alongside other leading firms and look forward to taking advantage of the building’s amenities and the wider opportunities of such a central location,” says Jim Gibson, partner at Gillespies.
“Our new base deepens our long association with the city we’ve had the privilege to help shape and will enhance our ability to attract and retain creative talent, all while supporting our commitment to a more sustainable future.”
Situated in a prominent central location, the new office improves its ability to serve its growing client base and strengthens our presence within the city.
With excellent transport links it also encourages the use of public transport, supporting its team in reducing their personal carbon footprint and aligning with its plans to be a net zero business by 2040.
The new office, features an in-house gym, cycle storage, shared meeting rooms, and collaboration spaces.
This includes a rooftop terrace, provides our team with wellness amenities, access to fresh air, and opportunities for collaboration.
