The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) has announced the finalists for the 2026 Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) Awards.

After a record-breaking number of entries, the APL Awards stands with a record number of finalists, too.

Revealed at the APL general meeting which was hosted on the Pro Landscaper stage at FutureScape on Tuesday 7 October at Excel London, the 123 finalists were celebrated with other members and trade professionals.

Judging took place over three days, led by a panel of judges including Bob Sweet from BBC Gardeners’ World Live, with Rod Winrow of Garden House Design, Laura Anstiss at Oakmore Green, Rupert Keys from TASK Academy, and APL general manager Phil Tremayne.

Due to the high level of skilled entries, two new categories have been introduced for the 2026 awards, bringing the total number of categories to 22. These are: Outdoor Living and Waterfalls and Pond Features.

Tremayne says every year “the standard of the APL gardens gets better and better, but this year once again APL members have excelled,” adding, “all entrants should be very proud of their achievements”.

A full list of APL Awards 2026 finalists can be seen here, as winners will be revealed at a ceremony on Friday 13 March 2026 at The Brewery in London.
