Lee Connelly, formerly known as the Skinny Jean Gardener, has released a new podcast entitled Growing Dad.
Connelly has taken to LinkedIn for his announcement, describing his new podcast as “real life. The good days, the heavy days, the moments of doubt and the slow learning that comes with being a dad”.
After eight months away from the audio world, Connelly returns with Growing Dad to discuss learning to garden, navigating fatherhood, the seasons of life and men’s mental health.
Available on most streaming platforms such as Spotify and YouTube, Growing Dad is a time to “pause, reflect and reconnect”.

Sky and Legal & General have secured planning permission to expand Sky Studios Elstree in Hertfordshire to double its current size, which intends to hit sustainability targets.
Construction of the expansion is scheduled to start next year, whilst Sky has also pledged £6.5m towards local road upgrades, a new community green and safeguarding 27 acres of land for wildlife.
Sustainability targets will also see solar panels across every rooftop, LED lighting throughout and a fully electric vehicle fleet.
Approved by Hertsmere councillors, the £400m Elstree project will deliver over 10 extra stages and 210,000ft2 of tier one space.
António Simões, group chief executive of Legal & General, comments:
“As a leading institutional investor, Legal & General is committed to getting capital behind projects that will drive our growth industries and give them a competitive edge on the world stage, while creating jobs and improving infrastructure for local people.”
The project will be delivered in collaboration with architects UMC, civil and structural engineer Fairhurst and M&E consultant Hoare Lea.
