Hampshire school completes allotment project thanks to Pye Homes
Porchester’s Northern Infant and Junior School Federation has completed its outdoor allotment project following a donation from UK housebuilder, Pye Homes.

Alottment before the transformation
The £1,000 donation has contributed toward 16 planters and new recycling bins within the newly-designed allotment area.
Intended as a clean and sustainable space for eight of the school’s classes to learn, the outdoor space is already being enjoyed by pupils.
“The support from Pye Homes has enabled us to create this engaging outdoor environment that will inspire learning with young pupils for years to come,” says the Northern Federation.
Karis McMahon-Lane, property marketing manager also comments:
“We’re passionate about supporting our local communities, and we’re especially proud to have contributed to an initiative that not only enhances the schools’ outdoor learning environment, but also reflects our shared commitment to sustainability.”
Coinciding with Pye Homes’ introduction of the sustainable Welborne Garden Village development in Fareham, this other project is just a short distance from the school.
