mmcité integrates street furniture in Austrian public spaces
Czech brand mmcité products range from city benches, litter bins, bicycle racks and shelters, which have been integrated into the Austrian capital, Vienna’s public spaces.
The green transformation of the boulevard of Praterstraße was conceptualised by Cuulbox, an Austrian association of experts that brings together landscape architects, transport planners and climatologists.
Landscape architects from Studio 3:0 designed the new public space with a new long-distance cycling route, replacing asphalt with tiles with better water permeability and cooling properties and extensive tree planting.
In another area of the city, mmcité features nearly 20 Vera Solo benches on elevated organic beds in the city neighbourhood near residential building, Danubeflats. The public space in this neighbourhood is the work of Grimm Architekten and Auböck + Karász studios.
The rooftop terrace of the Karrier Company features three modular units from mmcité’s platform collection and loungers from the rivage collection to enhance the buildings public spaces.
