Tills Innovations discuss benefits of specialising as it reveals its Rill Amaya
Tills Innovations has released its latest water feature, the Rill Amaya, with owner Mike Tillett emphasising the benefits that come with going through the water feature specialists.
The Rill Amaya is self-contained requiring very little maintenance and allows people to have a high-end water feature in their garden, complementing the overall design seamlessly.
Yet owner Mike Tillett is very keenly aware of the benefits going through a specialist when incorporating water features into a garden.
Tillett says: “Inherently with water features they have to be designed correctly from the ground up for them to work properly.
“If you have a problem with a water feature, generally there isn’t a bolt on part or modification that will fix it, which is why to use the water feature specialist, who will design and think through the process to deliver a robust solution.”
The Rill Amaya is versatile, functioning either as a water table or a rill, with Tillett explaining the difference is simple: the former tends to be above ground, while the latter tends to be in the ground.
It offers a standalone focal piece or a long rill to dissect a garden, frame a patio, lawn or terrace. There is a scope of variation as Tills offers the Rill Amaya to be custom-made to the size and shape required for a perfect fit.
There are two real bronze finishes, either aged bronze or verdigris and it is designed with low maintenance in mind. The infinity edge of the rill or water table removes any small surface debris, polishing the surface with the black water eliminating algae and ultimately creating a mirror-like surface.
It is a small team at Tills, with it consisting of just Mike and his brother Steve with Mike’s wife taking care of accounts.
Mike admits to frustrations with trying to get the word out about being a specialist for what he admits is a niche area.
Tillett explains: “We are incredibly niche with what we do being a company out there that does high-end unique water features.
“It’s so frustrating, people want these water features and services, but don’t know that we’re around.”
