Veolia launches new rockdust for healthier soil

Veolia uses ancient volcanic rockdust for its new Pro-Grow Rockdust for healthier soil.

Approved by the Soil Association and Organic Farmers and Growers, the rockdust will launch at BBC’s Gardeners World Spring Fair at Beaulieu, Hampshire on 2-4 May.

The product contains macro and micro nutrients to enhance soil biology by supporting beneficial organisms such as bacteria and earthworms. This will help release nutrients from the rockdust and existing soil compounds, boosting soil health and in turn promote plant growth.

It is available in 500g shaker tubes for house plants and 10kg bags for gardeners or in 0.5 tonne and 1 tonne bulk loads for farmers. 0-2 mm grade premium range is supplied in shaker tubes and bags, while both premium and standard 0-4 mm range can be supplied in bulk bags and loads.

Donald Macphil, chief operating officer at Veolia comments:

“Not only will it encourage healthier plant growth, but it will enable all gardeners to contribute to countering climate change as the dust captures carbon dioxide.”

The rockdust will join Veolia’s pro-grow range of top soils, lawn care, bark, mulches and soil improvers.
