Sport England appoints fabrik to deliver active environments
fabrik has announced that it has been appointed to Sport England’s Active Environments Framework.
The framework has been developed to provide high-quality, consistent consultancy support to help deliver active environments such as landscape and urban design, strategic outcome planning, leisure service delivery and assessments of need and community assets.
In collaboration with David Morley Architects and Sportsmith, fabrik intends to combine design, strategy and insight to help organisations create places where people can be healthy and connected.
“This appointment reflects our shared commitment with Sport England to champion active environments, support place-based growth, and contribute to the future of public leisure and planning,” writes the landscape design firm.
The framework can be accessed by authorities such as local authorities, which gives them specialist consultants, such as fabrik, to create better public spaces.
