Last chance to nominate the Most Influential Stone Suppliers

Last chance to nominate the Most Influential Stone Suppliers

It is the last chance to nominate companies to be put in the running to become one of Pro Landscaper’s Most Influential Stone Suppliers.

With an aim to recognise the best stone suppliers in the industry, Pro Landscaper’s latest initiative covers six categories as well as Most Influential Stone Supplier of the Year. A full list of categories can be found here.

The winners will collect their awards at this year’s StoneScape, which is taking place for the second time at the Public Spaces Expo from 7-8 October at the Excel in London.

Held in association with the Stone Federation, StoneScape debuted last year, with a popular seminar programme and a variety of exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations in natural stone products. This year’s show will be focusing on three key pillars: quality products, sustainable sourcing and pushing the boundaries of natural stone.

Hardscape Village announced for Public Spaces Expo 2024

Hardscape Village announced for Public Spaces Expo 2024

Hardscape has revealed plans for its own ‘village’ within this year’s Public Spaces Expo and StoneScape this October.

In celebration of the Hardscape’s 30th birthday this coming November, the Hardscape Village, a sneak peak of which can be seen above, will see companies from across their supply chain come together at Public Spaces Expo and StoneScape.

Among others, groups within the village will include Grupimar from Spain, IST Stone from Portugal, Stonework from Italy, and Ethical Stone from the UK.

Anthony Collins, sales director at Hardscape, says: “Putting key elements of our supply chain into view is something that will not be easily repeated at an exhibition, which I’m really proud of. It will peak people’s curiosity to have the opportunity to speak to people who are usually kept behind closed doors.”

“Hardscape is all about connecting our customers to the best of world’s supply chain, and our village will allow you to have a conversation directly with quarry owners from Italy, Portugal and Spain, so that you really connect to the roots of the material.

Other highlights of the village will be an indigenous stone map of Great Britain, produced with the support of the Landscape Institute and the Stone Federation of Great Britain, which shows off the scale of what Hardscape does, who it works with, and the stone that’s available in the UK.

You’ll also be able to experience our surface enhancement capabilities, interact with materials samples and see a live demo of Drainjoint, a leading sustainable urban drainage product.

The collaboration with the exhibition is the first for Hardscape who are the headline partner for both StoneScape and Public Spaces Expo.

Speaking about how it came about, marketing manager John Pagan says: “I’ve been aware of FutureScape and Eljays44 for a long time, and we’re aware of the scale and the reach of the company in some key markets.

“We felt with the continued development of Public Spaces Expo and StoneScape that now was the right time to connect. Our reputation and experience in the industry combined with FutureScape’s audience and reach, is the perfect fit.”
