BASIS shifts to strategic planning under new leadership
BASIS Registration Ltd has begun a transformation programme across the organisation, shifting to a phase of strategic planning and proactive delivery.
In order to shape this transformation, BASIS has renewed its leadership team in order to drive the change.
In early 2025, Corrina Urquhart was appointed chief executive officer set to enhance leadership capacity, increase resilience and ensure BASIS is well positioned to meet the evolving needs of the land-based and agri-food sector, including environmental management.
Since then, BASIS has also refreshed its board of directors, welcoming seven new trustees. There is also a newly formed senior leadership team and the creation of a responsive staffing model.
Harry Henderson, who has been with BASIS for two years acting as technical manager has been seconded into the role of head of education and partnerships.
Additionally, Martin Ford joins BASIS as head of commercial development with commercial insights and strategic planning expertise.
