Universal UK readies construction with supporting companies’ announcement
The first-ever Universal Resort in Europe is coming to the UK, set to transform Bedford and the UK economy generating £50bn of economic benefit, 20,000 jobs during construction and a further 8,000 direct jobs once operational.
With preparation works already underway, with help from companies such as Ground Control and LDA Design, other supporting companies have been announced.
Those appointed to help with the construction of the park include AtkinsRéalis UK Ltd, Bovis Construction Ltd, Gillespies LLP, Brindle & Green Ltd, Arcadis Consulting (UK) Ltd and many more.
Lisa Nandy, secretary of state for culture, media and sport, comments:

Initial on-site enabling works are currently underway.
