Green-tech launches Urban Design Roadshow

Green-tech Specifier has announced the launch of the Urban Design Roadshow which will explore climate-positive urban design solutions starting in September.

The technical team of landscape supplier Green-tech, Green-tech Specifier will host the first event at The Lowry, Salford Quays on 30 September 2025.

A free event, it intends to bring together landscape architects, specifiers and urban design professionals to discuss how blue green infrastructure can help shape sustainable cities.

Discussing water management, biodiversity net gain (BNG) and the impact of rising urban temperatures, delegates will also explore real-life case studies and networking opportunities.

Presentations include those from Georgia Gilbert, head of wildflower at John Chambers Wildflower Seeds, Seraya Sigsworth, head of blue green infrastructure at Green-tech and Tom Young, blue green infrastructure associate at The Environmental Partnership (TEP) and board member for the Green Roof Organisation (GRO).

Sigsworth says the roadshow will aim “to demonstrate how nature-based solutions can create greener, healthier environments for communities”.

Spaces for the roadshow are limited and can be found here.
