New RHS book by Tom Massey explores drought-resistant garden design
Garden designer Tom Massey has written a new book, RHS Waterwise Garden: Sustain Your Garden Through Drought & Flood, which explores techniques and case studies for reducing water use in planting and design, available to buy now.
Available to pre-order since August, the new book has officially been published today.
In Waterwise Garden, Massey also explains how to design a garden that will use water efficiently, withstand drought and mitigate flooding. Massey says:
“Join me in rethinking how we value, protect and preserve water in our gardens – and beyond.”
Suitable for the changing climate, the book has been published in association with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and written in close collaboration with its science team, developed by publisher DK Living UK.
The Garden Museum is hosting a talk with Massey as part of the book’s launch, joined by Sheila Das, head of gardens and parks at the National Trust; and Mark Gush, head of environmental horticulture at the RHS.
