Garden designer Kate Savill carries out a wide variety of projects from inner-city locations to large rural gardens. In 2016 she started her practise Kate Savill Landscapes. Her career has seen her not only scoop a RHS Gold Medal at the Young Designer of the Year final in 2015 but also Best in Show for her planting design at BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2017.

Probably beautiful, expensive paving or a water feature – as they are expensive things to get right!

I would have loved to have met Beth Chatto.
One thing that you think would make the industry better?
No more black plastic pots! And just everything and anything to help toward a more sustainable industry.
