The RHS has won a European Garden Award in the category ‘Europe’s Heritage of Gardens and Gardening’.
This prestigious international prize is awarded by the European Garden Heritage Network (EGHN), led by the Schloss Dyck Foundation, Centre for Garden Art and Landscape Culture in Juechen (Germany).
The RHS was chosen from a shortlist of three in the category ‘Europe’s heritage of gardens and gardening,’ which broadly covers the RHS Gardens and Shows as well as the work the charity does across training, education and raising awareness of gardening, so the win is a significant recognition of the RHS’s work.
Tim Upson, Director of Horticulture, says:
“We are delighted to have won this important international award, which very much honours the wide spectrum of the work that we do across the RHS in sharing the benefits of gardening.”
