Tony Benger Landscaping efficiency improves with mobile field service management solution

Devon-based Tony Benger Landscaping started to use Re-flow to manage its team of 50 last year, and it has already helped to improve the company’s efficiency.

The software provides the award-winning firm with the means to manage its staff’s workflow digitally through a mobile app. Each operative working onsite can access their job details and complete project task lists and forms including vehicle inspections, daily record sheets (hours and materials etc), site briefings, toolbox talks and risk assessments, all through their mobile phone or tablet.

Re-flow speeds up processes by creating a completely digital audit trail from management to staff and vice versa. It works on Apple and Android phones and tablets, and can be used offline where there is no internet connection.

Since implementing the software, Tony Benger has found that it no longer needs to spend hours processing and then storing paper job sheets or double handling data between contract managers and accounts staff. Its operatives have instant access to a much greater amount of relevant and important information including changes to site drawings, customer requirements, and new product information etc. The flow of information back to managers is instant and photographic records of completion are practical.

Commercial department manager at Tony Benger Landscaping, Oliver Hemson, said: “It’s a real game-changer. Freed from the burden of huge amounts of admin, we have more time to focus on actual landscaping and company development. I fail to see how it wouldn’t benefit almost any business which has staff working remotely. The unforeseen benefits just keep appearing; recently we found it made us a contender for a large contract which demanded live reporting. It’s a fantastic product as it is – but when backed up by Re-flow’s tirelessly supportive and flexible approach – well, I just wish we’d got on board years ago. We’d certainly never go back.”

Michael Saunders, managing director at Re-flow said: “Our software is getting a lot of attention. Businesses across maintenance, construction and civil engineering are now looking to implement digital solutions that utilise mobile phone technology that improves their services and efficiencies. The team at Tony Benger have really embraced Re-flow, and have made a number of excellent recommendation for the software which have further shaped it into a very powerful and relevant tool for their industry.”
