Berrington Hall is home to one of only two curved walled gardens by Capability Brown. The team are now re-establishing the garden and have opened it to the public. It is the only one open to the public and is one of Capability Brown’s final designs – but there is still work to be done. The Georgian garden restoration project will see this rare curved wall garden as well as the pleasure grounds, conserved and restored to enhance the interest and beauty Berrington Hall holds. In November’s issue on page 59-60 you can read more about the gardens and future plans from property operations manager for Berrington Hall, Ana Vaughan, and general manager for the National Trust in Herefordshire, David Bailey.
See below for a video as we take you around Berrington Hall’s grounds and into the walled garden.
